Cattle producers can receive a refund on eligible equipment purchased to help carry out food safety practices on-farm, as well as an on-farm audit at 50% of the cost.
Cattle producers that attend a VBP workshop, and have $2500 in cattle sales the previous tax year qualify for the GF2/OFFS program.
To be Eligible, Producers Must Have:
$2,500 in Cattle Sales, Completed VBP Training, Room Left in $750 Cap
50% up to $750/producer
Eligible equipment includes:
- squeeze with neck extender
- individual livestock weigh scale
- record keeping software
